The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) offers health, dental, vision and prescription drug plans for Michigan small businesses - including sole proprietors.

The Small Business Association of Michigan is pleased to be able to offer retirement plan services through Nationwide offered at reduced rates.

Consumer Directed Health Plans (FSAs, HSAs, and HRAs)
SBAM has answered the strong market demand for consumer-directed health plans to help hold down rising health care costs and provide the tools for employers and employees to make wise decisions when it comes to health care expenses.

Human resources solutions are provided to SBAM members from the American Society of Employers (ASE). As an SBAM member you will have access to the state's most reliable and extensive HR research service. Peninsula Powder Coating, Inc., Boasts Unique HR Strategies; Plus a Growing Bottom Line

Shotblast is an accurate description not only of the work performed by Peninsula Powder Coating, Inc., but of the enormous growth experienced by this small business.

Brian Baccus started his company in Baraga (located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula) in 2004 as one of the few Midwest companies that can shotblast parts as large as 40 feet long and 12 feet wide, and powder coat parts up to 24 feet long, 12 feet wide and 10 feet high. Within one year of starting his company, Baccus went from flipping coins with his one employee to see who would handle the orders as they trickled in, to hiring 10 full-time employees by yearend and paying off his start-up loan.
