Dearborn Group COVID-19 Updates

Because the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is ever-changing, Dearborn Group wanted to provide an update on the steps they are taking to continue to service their invaluable SBAM members.  Below are links to marketing materials and FAQs that outlines their efforts.

In addition, to help assist with COVID-19 support and resources, they are offering a special hotline that is staffed from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. The toll-free hotline is (844)-244-7657. This is being provided at no cost to ALL Dearborn Group insureds.

They want to assure you that they are working hard and taking extra precautions to minimize service disruptions to all Dearborn Group customers and members.

IRS Listens To Small Employer Concerns On COVID-19 Emergency Paid Leave

Further Guidance Expected Soon

In an IRS News Release (IR 2020-57) issued on March 20, 2020, the IRS and DOL announced that they will provide guidance sometime during the next week that employers with fewer than 500 employees may retain payroll taxes withheld from employees’ paychecks for the tax credits that are provided in the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
