DESCRIPTION:Please join us March 10\, 2025 at Revel\, downtown Muskegon\, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. for our first SBAM Owner2Owner (O2O) event for the Lakeshore Region! We will have a brief update from SBAM and a special guest along with building relationships with peers. \nThese O2O Regional Events are for small business owners only. They allow small business owners to build a sense of community in their region and gather together with other small business owners. Each regional meeting will feature components of education\, small business advocacy awareness and building connections. You do not have to be a member of SBAM to attend this meeting. \n\nTo welcome SBAM to the area\, we will be joined by special guest Representative Will Snyder. \n\n\n\n\n\nSBAM President and CEO Brian Calley will engage in a brief conversation with Representative Will Snyder from Muskegon. During his tenure\, Representative Snyder has chaired the appropriations subcommittee for Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO)\, and he recently served on the Select Committee on Protecting Michigan Employees and Small Businesses. DESCRIPTION:We’ll review what every small business owner should know about HR from a compliance and operational perspective as well as some best practices to apply immediately to their business. \n\n\nThis course will be two sessions held virtually on March 10 and March 14\, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
