Minicourse: Challenge to Opportunity – Leading Through Change

Leadership is critical during times of change. This course will examine the three indicators that it is not going to be business as usual. It will highlight the traits that leaders must develop, provide techniques to communicate change so that others will follow them, and common communication mistakes that hinder change.

This course will be held virtually on February 10, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. The course minimum is 10 people and limited to 40 people. 

Rapid rate of change. Constant “noise” and misinformation. Competition. The challenges have never been greater for small business. But many do not recognize the signs of change. Do you need to expand the product line or get rid of legacy products? Restructure your staff? Use new technologies? This course is designed to help recognize the need for change, how to lead it, and the importance of communication during times of great change. It will also show the impact of technology and the virtual world on the changing business environment. Takeaways include:

  • How to navigate difficult conversations around change 
  • How to move through change quickly to lessen the disruption
