12 Additional Legislative Candidates Endorsed by SBAM’s Small Biz PAC

Second round of 2026 endorsements includes seven House, five Senate candidates

Lansing, MI – The Small Business Association of Michigan’s Small Biz PAC today announced its second round of candidate endorsements for the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives in the 2026 election.

“Small business owners from across Michigan are eager to work with elected officials who truly comprehend their challenges to success and expansion,” said SBAM President and CEO Brian Calley. “Those receiving endorsements from the Small Biz PAC have demonstrated a commitment to addressing the critical issues facing small businesses.”

Legislative candidates receiving an endorsement as of July 2026 include:

State House of Representatives (7)

  • District #14: Rep. Mike McFall (D)
  • District #19: Rep. Samantha Steckloff (D)
  • District #22: Lisa McIntyre (D)
  • District #25: Rep. Peter Herzberg (D)
  • District #30: Rep. William Bruck (R)
  • District #69: Rep. Jasper Martus (D)
  • District #93: Rep. Tim Kelly (R)

State Senate (5)

  • District #5: Rep. Matt Koleszar (D)
  • District #20: Chris Moraitis (R)
  • District #22: Sheriff Mike Murphy (R)
  • District #28: Commissioner Mark Polsdofer (D)
  • District #34: Senator Roger Hauck (R)

This is the second round of endorsements for the 2026 election, with the first made in June of 2026. The Small Biz PAC will continue to evaluate and endorse candidates throughout the election cycle.

The Small Biz PAC is the political action committee of the Small Business Association of Michigan, which endorses candidates who have demonstrated support for Michigan’s small business community, regardless of political party.
