SBAM is committed to helping Michigan’s small business owners make informed decisions at the ballot box. Candidates for Governor, Attorney General, and Secretary of State were invited to share their perspectives on issues important to the small business community.

Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh

Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh serves as Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and has been a member of the Court since 2019. Before joining the bench, she practiced appellate law for more than 15 years, became a shareholder at a Detroit law firm, and served in leadership roles with the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission.

Judge Michael Warren

Small Biz PAC Endorsed

Judge Michael Warren has served on the Oakland County Circuit Court since 2002, where he has presided over more than 400 jury trials involving criminal, civil, and business disputes. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, he has also taught business law and constitutional law, served on the Michigan State Board of Education, and co-founded Patriot Week, a nonprofit civic education organization.
