Alma Tire Owner Named 2025 Energy Champion by Small Business Association of Michigan

The award was presented at SBAM’s annual meeting
LANSING, MI – The Small Business Association of Michigan honored Joe Grace, Director of Operations at Alma Tire, as its 2025 Energy Champion award.
Grace was honored for his dedication to ensuring energy efficiency across their many locations, saving over $11,500 annually. The SBAM team has assessed 14 of their properties, helping Alma Tire run as efficiently as possible.
“Joe has done an incredible job making sure that each new Alma Tire location is using energy efficiently,” said SBAM President Brian Calley. “His commitment to using energy efficiency to improve the business makes us proud to name him our 2025 Energy Champion award.”
The family-owned and operated Alma Tire boasts locations across the state of Michigan, most of which have been assessed to use energy efficiently. This small business has been growing since 1957 and continues to be a staple across the state.
