SBAM is governed by a Board of Directors. Several committees report directly to the Board. These committees have select openings available for members at large.

Member Volunteer Opportunties

Board Development Committee
This council is reserved for tenured members of the Small Business Association of Michigan, and those who have previously served in a leadership capacity.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is charged with the ongoing monitoring of the financial health of the Association and the adherence to the adopted budget.

Membership Committee
Committee members are charged with helping to evaluate the best mix of products and services for the SBAM membership.

Political Action Committee
The Committee’s main goal is to support the nomination or election of pro-small business candidates to public office in Michigan or to federal office representing Michigan.
