The Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) is transitioning to a new, modern computer system called MiUI that will be used by employers and claimants for all their tax and benefits needs.
Employers and third-party administrators (TPAs) will begin performing certain duties in MiUI on Monday, December 15, 2025. MiUI will be available for claimants to use by the summer of 2026.
To help users prepare for the modern, user-friendly system that will replace the current, decade-old Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM), UIA has created this MiUI University website. Here, users will find a library of helpful resources, including resource guides, FAQs, videos, infographics, blogs, and much more. New resources will be added regularly, so be sure to bookmark this page and come back often for the latest information.
