Michigan small business leaders elected to National Small Business Association board

Several members of the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) have been elected to leadership positions with SBAM’s national affiliate the National Small Business Association (NSBA).
Chris Holman, president and CEO of both The Greater Lansing Business Monthly magazine and the new radio broadcast company, The Michigan Business Network.com, was elected 2012 NSBA Chair. Jeff Van Winkle of Clark Hill PLC in Grand Rapids was elected Treasurer. Cynthia Kay, owner of Cynthia Kay & Company in Grand Rapids, was elected to the Board of Directors. 
The 2012 NSBA leadership will begin their terms on Jan. 1, 2012 and will continue working toward key NSBA priorities including: reducing the national deficit, enhancing small-business access to capital, addressing health care costs, reducing the federal regulatory burden and repealing onerous mandates such as the health insurance tax.
