Small Business. Big Success: Strategies and Techniques to Grow a Business

This course will explore how smaller entities can ramp up to do “big business” by understanding their strengths and the buyer’s perspective. Many strategies and techniques that work for large entities are counterproductive for smaller ones. This course will offer a roadmap to create an organization that is efficient, creative, and entrepreneurial.
This course will be held virtually in two half-day sessions on September 9 and September 16, from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The course minimum is 15 people, and the capacity is limited to 25 people.
This course is designed to guide participants from successful start-up through operations, growth and a sneak-peak at stepping out. Throughout the lifecycle of a business, it is important to have specific strategies to address challenges. This course will explore:
- The relationship between big business and small business
- How to connect and communicate with various stakeholders
- Hire the right people for the organization
- Find your company voice
- Examples of great business storytelling and how to write your business story
- Respond to RFPs and SOWs
- Create brand fanatics
- Create and evolve an exit plan
After attending this course participants will be able to identify their unique business advantages, craft their business story, create the framework for responding to RFPs and vision the company’s growth and potential pathway.
