SBAM Announces New Partnerships With OneAmerica Financial and Axios HR, an Engage PEO

In a strategic move to enhance employee benefits and streamline HR processes for small businesses, SBAM is pleased to announce two significant partnerships. Starting January 1, 2026, OneAmerica Financial® will underwrite various insurance coverages, offering more affordable plan options and improved customer service for SBAM members and their insurance agents. Additionally, SBAM has teamed up with Axios HR, an Engage PEO, to provide comprehensive HR solutions that include support for compliance, payroll, risk management, employee benefits, and more.
OneAmerica Financial® Partnership
We are excited to welcome OneAmerica Financial® as our new partner for Basic Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Short-term Disability, and Long-term Disability coverages beginning January 1, 2026. All members enrolled will receive an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no additional cost from ComPsych® EAP services, the nation’s largest EAP program.

Axios HR, an Engage PEO Partnership

To address this challenge, SBAM has partnered with Axios HR, an Engage PEO, to help small businesses streamline their HR processes and manage increasingly complex employee-related matters.
Solutions offered through this partnership include:

The fee for the PEO services depends on various factors, including the services selected, the size of the employer, the payroll cycle, states of operation, workers’ compensation classifications, and the benefits selected. The implementation fee is waived for Basic level and higher members, making it easier for small businesses to take advantage of these valuable services. These new partnerships are expected to enhance the overall solutions offered by SBAM, making it easier for members to attract and retain talented employees, enhance their HR capabilities, and allow them to better focus on their core operations and growth.
