“Bill Schuette has always been a champion of small business and we’re proud to offer him our endorsement.  As Michigan’s Governor we know he will ensure small business interests are in the forefront of the public policy process.”

LANSING – The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) Small BIZ PAC today announced its endorsement of Attorney General Bill Schuette for Governor in Michigan’s November 6th general election.

The Small BIZ PAC endorses candidates based on incumbent voting records, past or current small business ownership, recommendations from SBAM members, candidate interviews, candidate questionnaires and other factors.

“Bill Schuette has always been a champion of small business and we’re proud to offer him our endorsement,” said Rob Fowler, President & CEO of SBAM.  “As Attorney General, Bill Schuette understood that for small businesses to be successful, we must have safe and stable communities.  As Governor we know he will ensure small business interests are in the forefront of the public policy process.”

“Bill Schuette understands the vital role small businesses have in our state’s economy”, said Chad Paalman, Owner and CEO of NuWave Technology Partners and current SBAM Board Chair.  “He will be a passionate voice for an entrepreneurship-led economic development strategy and will build on the continued success of the small businesses that have grown and invested in our state.”

The Small Business Association of Michigan is the only statewide and state-based association that focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small businesses. SBAM represents more than 26,000 small businesses in trades as diverse as Michigan’s economy.
