Award presented at SBAM’s recent Leadership Council summit

LANSING, MI – The Small Business Association of Michigan recently honored Turtlehut Internet Marketing with its 2021 DTE Energy, Energy Champion award.
Turtlehut received the award for working with SBAM to encourage other businesses to request assessments to become more energy efficient, despite already having completed efficiency work at their business.
“SBAM’s Energy Solutions program makes it possible for small businesses to improve energy efficiency while saving money,” said SBAM President Brian Calley. “The team at Turtlehut went above and beyond to bring in leads to participate in the program to SBAM. Because of their efforts, SBAM has many proposals in the works and has helped small businesses become more energy efficient.”
Turtlehut is an internet marketing company based in Brighton that specializes in internet marketing, search engine optimization, internet advertising, web design and development, website usability consulting and much more.
The award was presented last week at SBAM’s annual Leadership Council Summit on Mackinac Island. The award was presented by Brian Calley and SBAM Energy Advocate Caile Richards.
The Small Business Association of Michigan focuses solely on serving the needs of Michigan’s small business community through advocacy, collaboration and buying power. SBAM Energy Solutions is an SBAM member benefit, powered in partnership with Consumers Energy and DTE Energy. Today they serve over 28,000 members in all 83 counties of Michigan. SBAM is located in Lansing, just one block from the Capitol.
