Please contact your legislator today and ask them to OPPOSE both the repeal of Right-To-Work and the reinstatement of Prevailing Union Wage.
Michigan’s Right-To-Work law bans compulsory union membership as a condition of employment. It allows the employee to decide for themselves if they wish to join a union. Michigan has prospered since giving workers the freedom to choose if they wish to join a union or not.
Furthermore, reinstating Prevailing Union Wage laws are very directly anti-small business. They require extensive siloing of worker functions and regulatory record-keeping that gives bigger businesses with bigger staffs a major advantage when going after government contracts.
