The 2021 Business Pride contest is an opportunity for local small business owners to share how proud they are of their business and any accomplishments they made this year in achieving greater energy efficiency. Business owners are encouraged to highlight their energy efficiency tactics or improvements and how they have benefited their business by reducing their energy use and costs, helping to create a more comfortable and save environment for their employees and / or customers and help the planet.
Business owners are encouraged to enter online using the online entry form at dteenergy.com/businesspride. All they need to do is answer a few basic questions and then tell us about their achievements in energy efficiency and how that has improved their business operations.
Prizing is as follows:
- Grand Prize: One (1) $5000 prize to make energy efficiency upgrades to your business, including a walk-through energy assessment with one of our energy experts who will make energy efficiency recommendations and help coordinating the direct installation of these upgrades or additional energy efficiency direct install measures funded by your prize money, and a chance to tell your story in a future DTE ad or magazine article.
- Second Place Prize: One (1) $2500 prize to make energy efficiency upgrades to your business, including a walk-through energy assessment with one of our energy experts who will make energy efficiency recommendations and help coordinating the direct installation of these upgrades or additional energy efficiency direct install measures funded by your prize money, and a chance to tell your story in a future DTE ad or magazine article.
- Third Place Prize: One (1) $1000 prize to make energy efficiency upgrades to your business, including a walk-through energy assessment with one of our energy experts who will make energy efficiency recommendations and help coordinating the direct installation of these upgrades or additional energy efficiency direct install measures funded by your prize money, and a chance to tell your story in a future DTE ad or magazine article.
