Exciting FSA, HRA & HSA Upgrade News… and More!

September 11, 2015

Kushner & Company has made substantial investments in their infrastructure allowing your customers and their participating employees unprecedented access to their organization’s FSA, HRA and/or HSA.

Beginning January, 2016 participants will be able to utilize mobile technology to submit claims and substantiation, view their accounts and even track the progress of claims and payments.

With Kushner & Company’s upgraded system they’ve transitioned to a new debit card vendor – allowing the elimination of the pre-funding requirement. Kushner & Company will follow up with our members soon with details on the debit card transition plan  – but they are expecting it to be very easy for participating employees with a minimal blackout transition period in late December.

Finally, and most importantly to your customers, these investments enable us to substantially reduce our fees.  If your customer already provide debit cards to their participants, they’ll likely see a decrease of approximately 30% of the monthly per-participant fee. If they don’t currently provide debit cards, there will no longer be a surcharge if they decide to offer them – and their monthly per-participant charge will still likely decrease. Even if you are currently at our monthly minimum per-participant fees (which will still likely decrease), your customer and their employees will be receiving many new capabilities that are leading-edge for FSA, HRA, and HSA administration, with the ability to add debit cards for no additional cost.  And as always, there are no implementation, annual setup, or plan amendment charges because you participate in the SBAM program.
