- Must provide a meaningful, exclusive benefit to SBAM members
- Preferred pricing, discounts, or cost savings
- Enhanced service levels or bundled value
- The offering must be better than what a typical small business could obtain on their own
Revenue & Sustainability for SBAM
- Must create non-dues revenue opportunity for SBAM (revenue share, sponsorship, or program participation)
- Support the long-term sustainability of SBAM programs and services
- Financial model must be transparent and mutually beneficial
Proven Quality & Credibility
- Established track record with strong reputation and client success
- Ability to meet service, compliance, and operational standards expected by SBAM
- Willingness to participate in ongoing performance review and accountability

- Directly supports SBAM priorities (e.g., workforce, benefits, compliance, operations, growth)

SBAM Academy is our online learning hub for practical, Michigan small business‑focused education. Academy content must be relevant to small businesses, practical and actionable, educational (not sales-focused), accurate, and aligned with SBAM’s mission to support Michigan employers.
