MI Hidden Talent Workshop Recap

March 29, 2023

On March 21, 2023 the SBAM Foundation presented the 7th Annual MI Hidden Talent Workshop.

Hiring individuals with disabilities and responding to their needs creates an environment of trust, productivity, and retention. The MI Hidden Talent Workshop helps employers navigate the ins and outs of hiring people with disabilities.

During this workshop, attendees were greeted by SBAM President & CEO Brian Calley and Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein, the co-founders and co-hosts of the event.

Our keynote speaker was Meijer President & CEO Rick Keyes. For years, Meijer has been a leader in hiring people with disabilities. Keyes led the effort and continues to advocate for inclusion in the workplace as President & CEO. These efforts have resulted in national recognition as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.
