Lansing, MI – Michigan small businesses are gaining affordable access to a suite of wellness services for their employees thanks to a new program offered by the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM).
The program is designed to be affordable, simple, and keep employees engaged, offering a combination of an online portal, programming options, and incentive strategies. Company employees have their own personal account and can regularly visit the site to find important wellness information, access challenges, track activity and use specific tools that are geared towards their specific health risks.
“Wellness programs create a supportive work environment that encourages work-life balance, stress management, and mental health awareness,” said Michelle Beebe, SBAM Chief Revenue Officer. “The SBAM Wellness Program can result in long-term cost savings for employers through reduced healthcare costs, lower turnover rates, and higher employee retention. When employees feel supported in maintaining their happiness and well-being, they’re likely to be more engaged and focused on their work.”
Offered in partnership with OnSite Wellness, LLC, a women-owned company earning both the WBNEC and WSOB certifications and serving companies throughout the entire state of Michigan and nationwide, the goal of the program is to reach participants where they are when they need it.
“It has been a dream of ours to be able to offer affordable wellness programming to small businesses in Michigan,” said Mary Kline, owner of OnSite Wellness, LLC. “With our new SBAM partnership, members can now have access to many of the same wellness opportunities as large employers at a reasonable cost.”
Eligible businesses will receive special SBAM member pricing, and have two options for incentives to offer employees: Rewards Mall or Incentive Points.
